Visiting Classroom

Winslow’s Visiting Classroom program offers your school the opportunity to bring your whole contained special education classrooms to Winslow once a week to enhance your special education program.

For 5—10 weeks our weekly sessions are specifically designed for children with special needs. During our time together your class will learn to ride a horse, understand horse language and commands and read a horse’s body language. Children will engage in off-horse activities like grooming, leading and horse knowledge in our indoor arena and classroom.
