Want a summer your child will never forget!? Sign them up for one of Winslow’s 4 unique programs for an experience unlike no other. At Winslow, there’s something for everyone! See our current summer programs below.
EXPERIENCE SUMMER LIKE NEVER BEFORE! Summer Adventures is the most fun-filled break from school your child will ever have! Offered to ages 6-12, little horse lovers will participate in daily group horseback riding lessons, learn unmounted horsemanship skills, engage with a variety of barn animals, play games, enjoy craft time, and join in on a number of other activities around the barn! With multiple weeks of adventure, each week is a new surprise theme! Sign up for one week or as many as you’d like! No horse experience required, everyone learns at their own pace! THE FINE PRINT: Summer Adventures is offered to ages 6-12, Monday-Friday 9am-3pm during the summer. Limited spots available. Cost is $325 per week. Refunds require doctor’s note. ****YLA WILL BE PAUSED FOR 2024 AND WILL RETURN FOR SUMMER 2025****For Grades 7th, 8th, 9th. Winslow’s YLA is a summer teen leadership program that is open to teens entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade. This program is partially funded by the Orange County Youth Bureau and is designed to empower youth by developing their inherent leadership potential and opening doors to new opportunities. It incorporates positive youth development through an integrated curriculum of work experience, cultural enrichment, mentoring, acquisition of life and job skills, and participation in leadership training. Participants will also receive group riding lessons, and work towards developing and increasing their fundamental horsemanship skills. THE FINE PRINT: Winslow’s Summer YLA is a leadership program available to teens entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade, Monday-Friday 9am-2pm for one month during the summer. Limited spots available. All registrants must participate in an informal interview prior to being accepted into the program.

For Ages 13-16! Saddle Club is a summer teen program open to ages 13-16. Teens will work towards developing and increasing their fundamental horsemanship skills, receive group riding lessons, participate in outdoor activities and team-building games. Saddle Club offers a fun and safe environment that focuses on building confidence, respect, and friendships with those that share common interests. It is the perfect opportunity for the horse-crazy teen! Must be an independent rider. THE FINE PRINT: Saddle Club is offered to ages 13-16, Monday-Friday 9:30am-2:30pm for two separate weeks during the summer. Limited spots available. Cost is $325 per week.
